his mother is killed and then comes home. The way he acted like a complete b**** and behaved was way too unnatural. I mean he totally knew his mom was killed, but still greeted this alien thing and acted like a complete psycho, plus other ish. Made me rage quit the anime.

Also anybody notice Netflix has a really nice selection of anime? I tried watching HxH but I feel its too shonen for me. I'll probably end up watching those racy ones with fan service..

Bruh go back to it. It's not fan servicey but it is def one of the most mature Shonen series I've ever seen. They don't have all the episodes up on Netflix unfortunately tho

 

Fist of the North Star has a similar place for me. Mindless trashy action that's withstood time.

Finished and feel like it's extremely overrated. Concluded (if you can call it that) way too fast in the end, several moments where the protagonist didn't act logically, last 5 episodes or so were rushed and often reverted the protagonist back to his old state of mind, with seemingly no explanation for his sudden emotional changes.

7/10 and nothing more, would've potentially been a 9/10 if the last ~5 episodes would've had a better pace and conclusion. This had so much more potential and needed at least 30 episodes instead of 24. Think I rated it 9/10 at finishing episode 19, but it went downhill for me from that point on. Not sure where you are right now.

They also could've done way more with Kana, the emotional aspect and the impact on the story would've been far greater if she were given more plot time and interactions prior to her (spoiler)
