If Westbrook couldn't do it with Durant, why it would be any different with PG13?

Everyone is tripping out aboit PG13 going to OKC. But they couldn't get a ring with Durant why do people think it would be any different with PG13? First or second round exists imo

They will bump to a 5 seed. Not much higher IMO with Utah and Houston improving.

I'm assuming Hayward returns there. Agreed my take was a bit premature.

It won't, they will certainly be a better team, but they aren't threatening anybody in the postseason. George already wants to go to LA, him being forced to live in Russell's world for a whole year isn't likely to change that.

In their defense OKC knows getting stars to play in Oklahoma is gonna be near impossible, so they are doing whatever they have to do to at least try and make a run with Westbrook

It will be an improvement personal wise and almost close skill wise. Pg won't mind being #2 guy

Yeah i don't get the big whoop either. It's poor man's KD-Russ contender Thunder except with Russ being the man and PG13 being an extremely poor mans KD and much lesser role players overall. This is a 2nd round team at best. Most likely 1st round exit.

Honestly they win the trade just to get out from Oladipo's contract more than anything.

i still think adam silver set up that trade for okic. Just like he set up the player awards, cant have westbrook being embarrased getting mvp after being eliminated by harden

You're still trying to push that players award thing? Even though they announced it back in novemeber before they had any idea Houston and okc would meet in the first round.

This trade caught everyone off guard. Nobody saw it coming. This is why the big reaction.

Nobody believes the Thunder are a contender.

Should all other NBA teams just give up until the GS dynasty breaks up?

Thunder and Rockets are pretty close now in my opinion. It would be a tough series. Rockets need Millsap desperately.

It would be different, Paul George will make an attempt to lure WB to join his LA dream......

Winning a ring, no GS still exists. Going back to the WCF is very possible now without injuries for OKC. They can definitely beat the Spurs and may be the best team out west equip to give the Warriors any resistance(unless the Spurs are better).

    Meh...same thing just in LA..

Westbrook needs to the Kobe roster build IMO. Dominant front lines and defenders.

Those two alone will get them to the playoffs but that's about it.
Could of used Gay to get them to a game 7 in the 1st rd.
