Well go to commissioner Silver and tell him personally to remove those titles because you believe it was a fraud.

    Dear Commissioner Silver,
I am a newb poster on Clutchfans and believe you have fraudulently awarded the Lakers and Spurs championships because Robert Horry didn't make all those shots. I don't have video evidence but you have to believe me cause I post on the internet.

Them's Fightin' Words: No, Hakeem Olajuwon was not better than Tim Duncan

So the next time someone tries to argue that Hakeem Olajuwon was better than Tim Duncan, just remember this article, and you can accurately tell them that they don't even belong in the same conversation.

That's dumb the nba is utterly corrupt organization and thats a fact and has been proven time and time again, Either u work for the nba in some capacity thats why it bothers you to read this.

its a proven fact amongst knowledgeable( something your not) fans the kings were robbed in 2002. The 2007 suspension were also bullcrap and robbery again. In 2000 the blazers were robbed vs lal in the 2000 conference finals.

Robinson might lie and say it is Duncan in public.

In private: Dayum, it is Hakeem. That footwork.

You do realize Robinson is a strong supporter and fan of the Spurs not to mention he is a legendary Spur himself. He and Duncan had great chemistry on the court and were one of the first twin tower duos that worked very well.

Honest question, do you guys believe Lebron to be better at basketball than dream? I think many things are forgotten about dream when trying to make this ridiculous claim that lebron is the greatest to ever play basketball. Hakeem was the last player to carry a band of misfits( that first championship)to the promise land in his early 30s mind you*.

The new wave media also forgets how much space dream could cover on defense. The dream shake was unstoppable with the footwork of a premiere midfielder, so much so that lebron and other millennial "goats" have him on speed dial so dream can show them how to be unbeetabol.

Lebron is the goat of this g*ngbang era but let's not belittle the legends that came before, that were just as great.

*that 2004 detroit pistons squad was something special too.

This boils down to Duncan had more rings and assists, therefore he's better.

Nevermind that Hakeem was a better defender and scorer.

Like, we all bleed red here, but, come on.

Hakeem was great, his skill set at the center position was probably the greatest ever, but he will never go down by the masses as the greatest center of all time.

Duncan is at least 50/50 as the greatest power forward ever, and probably the other 50 are calling him a center.

Hakeem was definitely the better player, but, not even close to what Horry was talking about. He was just saying this because kids and 20 year olds (who ESPN caters to) nowadays don't know how good Hakeem was.

    I
Is there anyone more qualified to know who was better? Horry is the only player to have played with both Duncan at the very peak of his career and Dream just north of the peak of his career.

Mario Elie played with Dream and Duncan also. He agrees with Horry that Dream was better. I found this old interview online:

You do realize this is a Rockets fan site, right? We are going to be biased in favor of Hakeem 100 times out of a 100. If you don't get that, you have failed the most basic Rockets fan test in existence.
