What I'm confused about it all of the black people who are convinced this is white man trying to take down another black dude. Bill Cosby is white America's favorite black man. Prior to this rape accusation he was held up by conservative white people as the proof that black people only had themselves to blame because of his "pull your pants up" speeches.

If white America was going to destroy a black man they definitely wouldn't pick Bill Cosby.

That holds more for Clarence Thomas, Colin Powell or maybe some black CEOs like Richard Parsons or Ken Chenault. Cosby is still solidly and publicly Democratic and liberal and sends Brinks trucks to historically black colleges. The subset of blacks who reflexively assume white conspiracies and attack their moderate black friends on Facebook as "pick mes" probably grew up in predominately black environments and assume that their well being can only be assured by other blacks.

The same people saying that now about Cosby are those who said it about OJ. What it comes down to is that some people only see the color of people skin and if they are black, they see them as innocent no matter what. It's unfortunate, but it's not like the opposite of that doesn't also exist. The hope has always been that we can just wait for those that have that kind of primitive thinking to die off but unfortunately it always seems to infect the youth.

thats some nazi-type s*** that happened right in our country for 40 years...and thats not even an isolated incident.

but that doesnt mean cosby is innocent or he was set-up. he admitted to drugging women. he should be in prison.

however, i can totally understand how black people in this country might be a little suspicious. their government has a long history of enslaving, disenfranchising, poisoning, disproportionately imprisoning and murdering them.
