    Depends on protections.

Lakers pick to Sixers is unorotected but I imagine the Sixers could add their own layer of protection.

If im Sixers and I can protect both future picks too 3.... I'm all over this. With no protections... well becomes a bit riskier.

What if Magic passed on Lonzo and Philly picked him up

IMO, the dropoff after Fultz is significant. Sixers are making the right move IMO. Obviously depends on what future picks they give up.

This trade depends Lonzo Ball being selected at #2, which may not happen.

it would be funny if this trade doesn't go through in the end.

With protections, it probably isn't worth it for Boston. Fultz is apparently killing it in workouts:

It's starting to sound like Fultz is the absolute cream of the crop in a cream-of-the-crop draft class. To give up on a prospect like that, you need to get a lot more value than protected first-rounders.

Maybe one of them will actually see the court this year.

Embiid isn't going to be playing professional basketball in 3 years.

Simmons is lazy and apathetic. He was the #1 pick in the draft and was so out of shape that he was winded during the summer league.

Fultz is legitimate, but being raised and reared with that organization? Good luck!

Didn't Chicago want picks for Jimmy Butler when it came to trade deadline?

Sounds like they will get their wish if this 3-way trade happens.

Seems like a massive bet for Ainge to drop to #3, what happens if the Lakers take Jackson instead of Ball?

sounds fishy. If Celtic's goal is Butler why don't they trade the no.1 straight up for him? Hmmm...

I will laugh so much if nothing happens in the end. But it's not like the rest of rumours with Ainge. Now that it involves a so young player who could become a superstar, there's damage here in the relationship and trust.

The trade wouldn't happen until #3 is on the clock. If Ball isn't taken at #2, there is no trade.

If its a 3 way trade for Butler, why does Philly need to be involved? They don't really have the contracts to help facilitate the deal.

Butler to Boston or Philly though? Would make sense to both teams, and on the other hand why would Boston do this if they can get Hayward for free in few weeks? Maybe they want both lol

Maybe the Bulls prefer the #3 pick + multiple others instead of #1.

That would be dumb trade for Chicago. Why would you trade Butler, in his prime, when you've got him locked up for 3 more years? What does Chicago gain dumping their current star for just the #1 pick? Would have to be #1 + next years Brooklyn pick + one more late round pick to get Butler.

Butler pushes you into contention. Hayward doesn't move the needle all that much given their inability to rim protect and rebound.

I thought the Bulls were gonna build around Butler but i guess they'd rather trade him and start all over again.

I know that GarPax are stupid but they aren't that much..
The fishy part is that Philly doesn't have to get involved. Celtics have the assets to trade for Butler and involving Philly makes the trade package worse for Chicago.
