what he is doing with this warriors team is amazing. He is a way better coach then Kerr and you can see by the way they're dominating in the playoffs. I would be a fan of use firing Dantoni and hiring Mike Brown. He is an amazing defensive coach.
Almost any decent coach could coach a team with THAT much talent. Look at like luke walton. The rockets don't have 4 all stars / all nba players. 2 of which were MVP's / scoring champions 1 of which is a dpoy candidate.
Makes you wonder is Kerr overrated. With this team now put JB as HC and they reach the finals. Luke Walton won 23 straight when Kerr was out.
Kerr is a good coach yes but I heard some media types talking about all time great level. He's good but nowhere near Pop. Kerr has the easiest job in pro sports.
Yes. Because I truly believe the fact Mike Brown couldn't win with just LeBron, is going to be a phenomenal choice as a coach because he can win with a 73 win team + Kevin Durant. I mean, seriously? Hey guys, the coach down at the local kids centre won his first game last week - we should give him a serious look at the head coaching position. He's a proven winner with a remarkable track record.
I could literally be the only coach on the staff, and I would still win the 'ship with this group of players.
With hindsight, isn't it hilarious how inept he proved to be? Just goes to show you that we don't have the means statistically to measure the impact of a great coach.
lol people haven't learned from Alvin Gentry and Luke Walton? Someone will pay Mike Brown big bucks next year to lead them to the lottery and the next man up for GS will step in and continue the process. Kevin McHale can coach that team to 70 wins by asking for more effort.
