the championship pistons team was pretty good too but that was when bron was on that sorry cavs team so i guess it doesn't really count. east has been pathetic since the heatles day. even when the bulls were good, bron just ended up exposing d-rose lol
The Heat at least had legitimate ECF opponents in Boston and Indiana. Two hard-fought 7 game series. Not this trash we're seeing today and the past couple years.
Oh, I didn't forget the Pistons. The year LeBron beat them was '07, ten years ago.... time flies. Pistons didn't even win 55 games that season yet were a #1. They were passed their prime, but experienced. Those Bulls teams probably get beaten by 5 different West teams. Orlando had a good year or two.
I know that Pacers were swept but each game was competitive and close. Pacers look like they might have been the second best team in the East after the Cavs.
If you combined Wiz/Raptors/Celtics into one team...would they beat the Cavs? I'm starting to think that Cavs might win...as irrational as that may sound.
Cavs have 3 of the Top 15 players in the NBA and they also have the BEST Player in the NBA. And they have an incredible bench and we haven't even talked about TTBOY. There's no team with more talent or depth. And don't give me that crap about the Warriors. Do Warriors have 3 of the Top 15 players? Don't give me this crap about Klay being in the Top 15. He's not even a top 40 players. He's utter crap.
I was referring to if the Cavs could beat the combined might of those 2-4 seeds in the East, not in reference to the Warriors. My pick is still Warriors in 7, but that is just my neutral view which is basically the Vegas line.
This idea came from a podcast discussion about if we put all the best players from all the non-playoffs team, if they could beat the Warriors. I'm just posing the question if all the best players from Wiz/Celtics/Raptors on one team could beat the cavs.
LOL at LEbron with his Hollywood act. Pretended that 5' 6 inches 160 pounds Isaih Thomas injured him. LOL
I would still say no because Cavs have Lebron. It's like the Bulls have Jordan. The team with the best player always win.
why wiz celtics raptors? And not indiana, celtics raptors? Anyway..for your question..no. Because all those teams have "star" guards and weak frontcourts and their wings too are no stars. So their strengths overlap each other. Any combination of beal, wall, lowry, derozan, IT..wouldn't do any better. At least with Indy you can also include PG13 a star wing.
