You sound like the press when pop was screaming at Danny g.

Don't sleep at the wheel, or you'll miss the important parts.

I like how our response to the Spurs playing small is to play Ariza more minutes ....

Yeah let's give ol' tired legs who can't hold kawhi in the first place ... 45 ducking minutes

WE HAVE TO EXPAND The rotation ... Our role players are playing like **** .

Lou isn't getting it done , Ryan isn't getting it done , Trevor is getting it done every other game or so .

Give Dekker a chance .... Like pop gave Simmons to use his athleticism to change the game .

Dantoni got that first game and has gotten his ass out coached severely

Put Dekker and Harrell for Anderson
Dekker was pretty good against the spurs during the regular season

I dont think it's an overreaction. If Anderson or someone else is giving you absolutely nothing, then other players should be utilized. Troy Williams, Dekker, or Harrell couldn't have done worse than Anderson tonight. It's like we were playing with only four players on the court.

I'm really coming around to thinking this rotation needs expanding, I would love to see Trez and Dekker get worked in to the game somehow--they were a huge part of our regular season success, and I think in a game like last night's when we don't seem to be firing on all cylinders, these guys could give us a boost. Youth or no youth, playoff rotation be damned.

This dude is responsible for Rockets W's. Everything he says, turns out to be the opposite. LOL. We as Rockets fans should encourage him to post more garbage because he is almost always wrong.

First, he says Capela will be destroyed by Deadman and David Lee. LOL. Those two don't even get on the court much and Cap has been pretty beastly. Rockets get the W in game 1.

Next he says Ryno at the 5 is an automatic L. Nene goes down, Rockets go with Ryno at the 5 and get a convincing W.

Waiting to watch him twist this and move goalposts. Popcawn.....

    Here you go.

This is a seven game series. We did not win last night's game because Anderson played the 5. We won the game because MDA took Anderson out and went with a three, guard line-up with one big, something I've advocated going back to midseason.

Another thing, we did get lucky and get by with Anderson in the second unit for a few minutes. The injury to Nene a temporary short-term blessing because it forced MDA to go away from matching up with the Spurs double big line-up with our two bugs. We got Gordon in with the starters and ran away and hid. Once the momentum shifted and Anderson re-appeared there was too much separation. Spurs started gambling Thu try to get back in it sms the game was over with 8 minutes left.

But you'd better enjoy the short term blessing. Because if Nene is out then we are in trouble. Because the Spurs will dissect us and punish our soft interior which just became softer.

Spurs took the Aldridge matchup against Harden this game. They're saving the Gasol/Capela matchup for later.

I will continue to say Capela is Bambi. As long as he is allowed to run free without being touched he looks beautiful. But when you pout buddies on him and box him down he collapses and blows away like a cheap tent in a windstorm. And the Spurs know that. They were trying to take the cheap route night, posting up Harden and getting to get him in foul trouble. That would have been cutting the head off the snake. But Harden is too smart for that. And really Harden is too good of a post defender to get buried in fouls.

The matchup the Spurs will finally dominate offensively is Pau in the middle vs. Capela/Anderson. When it comes it will be quick and deadly if Nene isn't available.

Harrell should get some minutes as small ball 5 too. Dekker/Troy will also take more minutes as stretch 4, Ariza cannot take all the minutes at 3/backup 4, his D is starting to struggle. Surprised he can still shoot the 3 as well as he has, his legs must feel like spaghetti.

    Hey @Mathrocker,

@FTW Rockets FTW ran out of cherry Nyquil. Would you run to CVS and get her 9 more bottles? She swigs one every time James chucks away the ball.
