3rd Attempt: GOP/Trump Repeal & Replace ACA and Trump lie about pre-exist coverage

You people hating on this bill saying that people are gonna die as a result are so childish and melodramatic. Patients weren't dying from a lack of healthcare 10, 15, 20 years ago before Obamacare was rammed down our throats. The lazy and the poor are gonna do what they did before they were handed subsidies: go to the hospital where they can't be refused treatment.

 

Except this doesn't work which is why the insurance exists.

You might as well wish for a magic health unicorn that cures all disease. It's equally as possible.

Nearly 45,000 annual deaths are associated with lack of health insurance, according to a new study published online today by the American Journal of Public Health.

The study found a 40 percent increased risk of death among the uninsured. As expected, death rates were also higher for males (37 percent increase), current or former smokers (102 percent and 42 percent increases), people who said that their health was fair or poor (126 percent increase), and those who examining physicians said were in fair or poor health (222 percent increase).

 

I'd bet anything you were one of those people screaming about death panels 7-8 years ago.

 

Obamacare was debated in Congress for over a year before it passed. Yeah, it was really "rammed down our throats" unlike this latest bill that just passed in the House

 

It bankrupted the living **** out of the uninsured, caused ERs to shut down and hospitals to turn for profit.

Anything to protect the FREEDOM of insurance companies to run a business whose profits depend on the sicker part of the populatin healthcare, while charging premiums for the healthier segments.

 

I'm so glad we save all this money so 5 year old Jimmy with leukemia can have fun with insurers the rest of his life if he survives.
