I like this one. Free up Lamar miller for outside runs and catches out the backfield. Let this battering ram take a few (or give a few) hits. Miller, hunt, grimes and foreman. Bye bye blue unless he's moved in as FB over Prosch. TE and OL now.
Texans say there's no concern. It's been down played as minor since the combine. I'm not hugely worried about it because of that.
Im probably really stupid, but I'm not worried about the Oline blocking...we get Martin back (free high round draft pick). We just really need a RT. We'll get one this draft then sign a June 1st cut as a stop gap. Foreman will be fine, as will Watson. We may not have a top tier line, but it'll be middle of the pack, which is fine for one year.
Agree. I seriously doubt we get an OL this far down in this draft that will compete for Lamm or Allen's job. It's possible, but the odds are not favourable.
Foreman in the 3rd was on my draft wishlist. Thought there was a chance he could go higher but ecstatic that we got him. One thing that will help Savage, Watson, or whoever is back there is a strong run game. Our redzone offense was one of the worst in the league and Miller/Blue just weren't threats here. Foreman is a big tough runner that will help immediately here, but has plenty of speed for his size.
I see people here say foreman is a good pass blocker but all the scouting reports say the opposite. Words like terrible are used to describe his pass protection
Ridiculous pick. Foreman is a fullback in running ability but can't block. You have to go best OL or CB there. Just ridiculous. It's almost like they care about money so they took a UT guy.
His technique is bad as it is with virtually every other back coming out of the draft. He has the frame to be a powerful pass blocker.
