It's way too early but we might have another Dak&Zeke in Texas with DeShaun&D'onta in Houston.

I think the Texans would have gone with Garcia at OT had the Patriots not nabbed him before us. With Garcia out...not worth taking another tackle at that spot in the 3rd, bc we wouldn't be getting value. The Foreman pick will be solid.

I think you completely missed Otto's point.

Na.....I just know...u know NOTHING about football and team building. You are the type that chase names...instead of fit. If you had done any research, you would know this a WEAK OL draft. Don't reach or draft players just because u need a position.......in a weak draft at that position.

The point is......u don't pick for need in a weak position draft, when there is a player that is rated higher at another position that is also a need.

That is the perfect comparison for Foreman.

He worked out hard to slim down a bit after the season and gain some speed.

Let me restate... I do think they had a need for a back who could run between the tackles and get tough yards, particularly in goal line situations. But I wouldn't call it a significant need. Had they gone into the season with Miller and Blue has their main backs, I don't think anyone would have called RB a position of weakness.

As far as OL and secondary goes, I'm guessing they plan to spend some of that Osweiller money on free agents to address those holes after the draft and that they'll add some depth at those positions with their remaining picks. Or at least I certainly hope so. If they end up doing nothing with the cap room, that Cleveland deal will end up looking like a train wreck.

I like this pick. He will pair up really well with Miller and hopefully render 2YPC Blue obsolete. I also think any OL in the 3rd would be a reach considering who are left. My bet is that we draft a OT and OG in the 4th round or trade up for a OT. We will probably be using Os cash to resign Hops and Clowney.

I like this pick we were god awful in short yardage last year and we needed a thumper at RB. I am sick of watching Blue run into the back of our OLineman when he carries the ball. Foreman has thump and he has the speed to take it the distance. If we had a back like this last year we win the Raiders game in spite of all the circus like shenanigans that went against us.

    I like this pick.

Foreman will need to develop for the NFL though. He will not see that many arm tackles again. He will also need to lower his pads, run less upright and protect the ball.

I cannot see Blue and him both making the team.

Not my argument but I'll take this bet with you.

For the record, I think the Texans are having a great draft despite the glaring hole at RT (I really didn't like anyone in this draft that was available to us)
