Well that was fast, I've suddenly come to the recollection of why Josh got fired a couple years ago and why he got fired in Philly. He's bearable in short spurts but good Lord he's awful as a daily host. He'd be a really good Sunday evening guy but I think I'm over his bullshit. Yesterday was one of the worst shows I've ever heard and I only listened to about twenty minutes of it. I think besides Mad Radio and TPG I'm probably done with local radio and I'm just going to Pandora/iheartradio and podcast my way through traffic from now on. Houston sports talk is abysmal and sad
Yeah, I went from a regular listener to sports radio all day long to now only listening on my morning commute. I don't like the mid morning, the lunch time, the afternoon OR the evening shows anymore. When I'm driving around at those times I just listen to bland XM music or my daughter's Disney cd lol.
LOL, when you were defending him a while back, I thought to myself "he'll come around soon enough." I finally gave up on talk radio when Charlie was fired. He was the only show I listened to on a regular basis. I'm now on the podcast bandwagon fulltime. I spend about 2 1/2 hours in the car every day, and 100% of that time, I'm listening to the Dave Ramsey podcast or Spotify.
Exactly, I'm at the point where I'd rather have my kid in the car so talk radio isn't an option. She likes house music
If you don't already give Joe Rogan a listen, he's always got a good guest. Also The Right Time with Bomani Jones is pretty solid
I really don't get how anyone can find him entertaining. His shtick of "let me obnoxious because that's "real" and anyone who doesn't like it is a p***y" is terrible. I caught a few minutes of his show maybe two weeks ago and he was trashing the Rockets for "b****ing" about foul calls all the time. He said it like 10 times in 30 seconds and I switched the channel.
There's talk he's going back to Philly. Please let CP come back and return our collective sports sanity,,,
I remember his first week all he did was dog on Charlie Palilo and his ratings. Now six months in, Innes's show hasn't even move the needle. I caught the tail end of the "meltdown" today. Lame. I hope he's leaves one way or another.
