this is 1 of the most boring playoff series in a long time...can't believe so many people were scared of facing Memphis in the 1st round
Kawhi always goes right.... He literally never ever goes left. Everytime he is forced left he passes it off. He cant create shots while going to his left. If we play these guys then we gotta force kawhi left
The spurs are in this game because of one stat: ft disparity. Nothing's changed. The grizzlies play a perfect first half and are up by four: ft disparity.
Kawhi dissapeare when they force him left. Harden westbrook bron curry durant all better with their offhand tgan kawhi
This is a great observation! Kudos. I hope this is something the staff has noticed and something we can exploit. Harden had this trouble early in his career and it was a very common defense used against him.
Hope Memphis can pull it out. Great opportunity for the Rockets to sweep, and let SA get beat up a little bit. At the very least it gives us some wiggle room going forward.
What I would like most about a sweet is it would give us plenty of practice time and film study for the Spurs. We could really practice and tighten up exactly what our game plan is against the Spurs and try and go steal game 1 in San Antonio. Especially if they end up having to play like 6 games against a gritty and physical Memphis team. Kind of like a perfect storm scenario. None the less, the focus should entirely be on winning game3
I hope Selden's uncle was in the crowd with his Flava-Flav clock for that slam!!! How the heck did he go undrafted???
No doubt bro. Harden used to only be able to go left but he has learned to be effective going to his right. Truly great offensive players can go both ways. Kobe was deadly either way. Kawhi is elite defender and good at offense but he wont be elite offensively unless he learns how to use his offhand better. Id like to see gordon on kawhi. Gordon plays really smart defense. When bev was fouling westbrook and we put gordon on him gordon pressured brook to his left and didnt foul. Pressuring another player to their offhand shows that the team is disciplined and listens to their coach IMO. Kawhi and green always try to force harden right. Harden and gordon are both good with their offhands on offense this season. That gordon right handed floater over KD when we beat GSW showed how skilled gordon is IMO.
Yeah the more nights that Pau/Lamarcus/Ginobili/Parker have to lace it up the better. They are playing with fire. If Memphis somehow gets their number and wins game 4 as well, we might be going 7. Crossing my fingers for a huge battle with the Spurs choking a little bit.
