Durant is so good on D, let alone Offense that it makes day and night difference for them.

The issue has come that teams can no longer effectively guard the Warriors on offense(without length) and can not keep up scoring without shooting. Portland is just the latest example

Golden state has players that allow them to do many things well.
    1. They have versatile length (Green, Iggy, Livingston, McCaw, Durant, McGee, Thompson). Each of these players can switch and guard on the perimeter and disrupt interior passing.

    2. They have tremendous shooting from distance (Curry, Thompson, Durant, Clark)

    3. Their motion and willingness to pass generates great shots from mediocre possessions. Princeton, Horns, P&R, isolation, Post, half court, fastbreak offense...they really excel at every one of them...

    4. They trust each other to do their jobs.

    5. They have unselfish superstars willing to get each other going.

The Warriors are looking like they will win this year. We just have to accept the fact that this is a special team.

6 They have a great Home Crowd
7 Anything can happen, they can win NBA and they can even lose in the first round if Nurk gets healthy...
8 I just hope Durant comes back , I think they are more beatable with him (for us not so for the cavs)

Lol you're crazy. I wonder how many other Rockets fans would rather face a healthy Durant rather than no Durant.

I wonder if McCollum gets traded next year. Him and Damian are redundant.

Good question. I see a lot more Steph-Monta here than Steph-Klay. Who knows, maybe Lillard is the one that gets traded? Remember, the Warriors tried to keep Monta and trade Steph (in the Bogut trade), but they got lucky that Milwaukee didn't wanted Steph due to injury concerns.

Steve Kerr & Kevin Durant are resting?! In the playoffs?! I hope the NBA hands out a very significant fine.

    ;)

Warriors will be fine without both.

It's a joke Durant doesn't play. He is pretty much 100% healthy. Might as well not play him any game to not get injured.

LMAO @ Mike Brown has been a head coach since 2012. Extra chatty in the interview.

Warriors absolutely tanking this game to buy more time for Durant to heal. Hope it bites them in the ass.

Huh? How does tanking this game buy them more time?

I don't agree they are tanking. Doesn't help them at all to extend the series to 5 games because Clippers/Jazz will go at least 6.

They look out of kilter early but that happens often to higher seeds in game 3 when leading a series 2-0.

Going to lose a lot of money because of this. All Warriors reporters were pretty sure he was going to play so I assumed the same. I've never seen team rest their best player for precautionary reasons in a playoff game.

looks like Portland will lose this lead very soon

Dame and CJ have to both be superhuman in order for the Blazers to possibly beat this GS squad just 1 time
