That first play, the two high screens for Harden to free up Gordon at the top, coupled by the Gordon drive, Nene-option roll, then kickout to Bev for the corner 3 with the play literally ending in the opposite part of the frontcourt where it started - just jaw droppingly awesome all around, great play, great decisions, great execution. And the icing on the cake is that Russ was got ball-watching/rebound hunting to free up Bev.

I was floored when i saw it in real time, and have barely been drinking tonight.

Gordon and Bev so clutch towards the end of this game

They hit so many clutch shots towards the end. Gordon is finding his rhythm and taking it to the rack, I love Gordon

Westbrook was trying to pad his rebounds and didn't play defense on the Beverley shot.

Gordon was unbelievable tonight. He made so many big plays in the 4th quarter.

Is ESPN going to highlight WB defense on Pat's 3?

The energy at TC for game 2 was unreal, that was a real homecourt advantage.

the "defense" chants, the explosions after a made three in the 4th quarter...so hype

The funny thing is we all joked about how the pro Russ faction of the media/Thunder have been operating, for a full season, with the presumption that a trip dub > win....but this this really is the way the Thunder have been playing, consciously or not, for 82 games and it's proving very difficult for them to not revert to those tendencies, which result on losses to superior teams like Houston more often than not.

Great clutch 3's, and Gordon's block on Westbrook was also very clutch. Gordon has done a solid job defending during his stretches on Westbrook as well. It hasn't stopped Russell but he hasn't made it easy for him.

Harden is such a great creator, he turns his teammates into great creators.

About as much chance as the highlighting Harden's help D on Westbrook forcing him to pass, then recovering to make a nice contest on oladipoo's three attempt.

If it was McHale Era, it would have been Harden calling a pick, Howard refusing to go there, Harden forced to iso 4 flat, turnover

On the contrary, look at Gordon's movement. After he pass the ball to Bev, he confidently running back to defense, knowing that the ball will go in.

Pause at 0:36 and look how open Jerami Grant is on this play. He's a 39.1% three point shooter this year when wide open.

And yet, with 22 seconds on the shot clock, Russ takes one of the ugliest shots I've ever seen. Beautiful*.

*Westbrook shoots a sizzling 13.3% on closely contested threes.

Bev is such an alert player. That rebound and full court pass after WB miss on 3 was all done in one motion. He knew exactly what to do there a second before anyone.
