    IT HAPPENED TWICE

    An OKC big swatted a rebound about 3/4 back the way to our basket ... And then an OKC player brought it back up .

    Even though we won, I am still upset at this.

    1. It's their ****ing jobs to call fouls.
    2. If you foul someone in going into a shooting motion, you get 2-3 FT's. That's how shooting fouls work.

    I blame the crowd for not reacting hard enough, if we sht on the refs harder maybe they won't try pulling this sht again.

    Interesting. Matt Thomas and another person on Twitter are saying that you can tap the ball in the frontcourt and gather in the backcourt. That you have to have possession. Looks like it may have changed recently?

    Clutch, at the bottom there it says on a throw-in, that if his feet were in the front court, he could land in the back court, but his feet were already in the back court

    Isn't the throw-in rule change so that you can't throw it into the back court, so it's leeway for that, i don't think they changed it otherwise.

    This is the exception btw

    EXCEPTION: During the last two minutes of the fourth period and the last two minutes of any overtime period, the ball may be passed anywhere (frontcourt or backcourt) on the court. However, if the ball is thrown into the frontcourt and an offensive player on the court fails to control the ball and causes it to go into the backcourt, his team may not be the first to touch the ball.

    I figured there had to be a reason they didn't call that. Proper rules enforcement on their part.

    Kind of an esoteric detail, not surprising that it was unknown to basically everybody except the refs.
