    If the show was smart, they'd use this to their advantage. We don't know Tyler's whole story, but we are (understandably) already judging him as "unlikable" due to the few, select pieces of his story that we do know. I imagine there's a lesson in there.

    Just finished watching this today and I thought it was good, if at times, hard to watch.

    Hannah Baker tho...

    Finally finished....was pretty well done. Can't believe I stayed up to watch 3 episodes after the Rockets game

    Thought the show tried to address too many problems at once (suicide, bullying, rape, school shootings, drug addiction) & at times, did a poor job of portraying American high schools (The "jocks & cheerleaders are the most popular" narrative for the most part isn't even accurate anymore).

    The show was weird, IMO most of the characters weren't even likable but they still had my attention. The "tapes suicide note" thing was gold & the acting was great for the most part, especially Hannah's parents.

    Jeff was great, but utterly useless at his job; a terrible teacher. Clay had all these bad b****es pining for him in secret and he still couldn't close any deals... one of them committed suicide because of Clay was at peak pussyness.

    I'm really surprised this thread got to 4 pages of discussion. If you liked this series, filled with teen melodrama, I see no reason why you guys wouldn't enjoy Skins and Degrassi.

    I found it disturbing
    I found the universal praise it receive even more disturbing
    the sees in some ways to encourage more suicide than prevent it
    It basically tells people. . . SEE YOU CAN GET THEM BACK WITH YOUR DEATH
