    You know why no homer would ever advocate for picking up Kap, no matter what team they are a homer for? Because he's terrible at football.

    Let them keep praising Savage! He's going to disappoint the same way Cody Carlson did to Houston Fans after Warren Moon was traded. Everybody thought Commander Cody could take over and lead The Oilers. He lasted 3 games, got hurt and was never heard from again!

    Savage = Commander Cody 2.0

    Really don't see the need for Kap or Cutler with Savage in the fold. He would be just as good as two washed up used to bes.

    IDK why there are still some fans wanting us to sign wash ups and free agents, how can you trust your draft picks qb/give them a chance if you keep signing these bad qbs. I rather try new qbs from drafts than watch season after season with sht qbs no one wants.

    beggars cant be chooser. Nobody said Kap's the freaking savior, but pathetically he's still an upgrade over the trash we got at QB.

    oh yes, savage definitely got some solid track record alright, not to mention his clean bill of health.

    You could say the same for Cut and Kap.

    That's where I disagree, I don't think he'd be an upgrade or even a lateral move.

    A Super Bowl appearance is much better track record than an older 3rd year qb who basically has never played, is always hurt and when healthy isn't very good.

    Kapernick once had promise, there is no problem signing him and if he doesn't do anything, then just dump him. When you have nothing but shitty qbs, there is no problem bringing in a ton of wild cards and hoping something pans out. Tom Savage has shown absolutely nothing in his time with the team.

    You shouldn't be, most people who know football and are paying attention think something similar.

    And those same people thought Tony Romo was coming, that Brock was the answer, that drafting a Rookie in round 1 is going to cure everything.......WRONG!

    First time ever to "Ignore" someone, but a poster who feels the need to post the exact same take every 3 posts in any thread about Quarterbacks makes the forums insufferable.

    They'll still be here, defending every move the Texans make as we sink in the standings.

    Kaepernick hasn't played like a star in years. He's just a guy now. I would pass on him.
