Oh boy, you dont learn do you?

For a guy that obviously cares a lot about what people in this forum think of him, you keep screwing up and instead of getting respect you have become a comic relief around here.

keep up the crazy arguments amigo, they are highly entertaining

His problem is not that he is opinionated and defends his point of view, there are plenty of guys around here like that. He will be right sometimes and will be wrong in many other instances as well, that's normal.

His problem is that he talks down to people. He thinks he is like the basketball god's gift of basketball knowledge around here and that anyone who dares to contradict him is a total idiot. His attitude is total $hit, he is obnoxious, annoying, rude, and ithink, ill-tempered too because when something he says gets questioned he will go on long a$$ rude rants about why he is right, and then tends to make these crazy absolute or exaggerated arguments like "capela could be replaced by 50 centers in the NBA better than him".

Thon Maker is ranked #24 as rising stars under 25, Capella is not ranked:

    24. Thon Maker

    19

There are two types of big men the NBA covets as role players -- the monstrous man who can eat up space inside, and the shot-blocking 3-point specialist. Maker is the latter. He's a fluid athlete with the potential to be an excellent perimeter shooter while possessing a huge wingspan to help swat shots on a 7-foot frame.

Lacking a typical basketball upbringing, Maker will need to grasp the NBA game quickly. What he learns now will determine how much he can grow as a player. -- Thorpe

Capela was ranked 60 odd to 80odd (can't remember exactly) in NBA player rankings this season.

No but I'm definitely for trading Capela for a center who can score without needing Harden to feed him. Cousins or Love is still the dream option

The Milwaukee Bucks are going to be in the playoffs this season. Giannis and Thon have tremendous chemistry. Thon is still raw and green and Giannis has only started to blossom into what he is going to become and he's already a monster. Thon is going to be a monster too and everybody will finally rue the day we traded our pick for Ty Lawson and then stubbornly played our way to the eighth seed. That pick and Capela would have gotten us Maker. In two seasons the Bucks are going to be filthy nasty to play against.

I'm hoping Joe Chee turns into something. Because we're going to have to match up with long athletic seven footers who can run and shoot the three.

And here's Giannis speaking about Thon's work ethic and attitude.

We have been waiting on the Bucks to turn the corner for years. The fact is they are only 2 games ahead of the 9th seeded Pacers, who they play tonight. They better take care of business.

Still, absolutely one of my favorite teams to watch. I love Malcolm Brogdon.

Right now he is still way more potential than actual production.

Wrong forum....What does this thread now have to do with the GARM...and it should have gone in the Random Trade ideas thread to begin with.

    ----------------------------------------------------
This quote above is from the day you started this thread. Nowhere were you advocating a #13-14 and Capela to move up to #10, rather you said you'd "take a flyer with a late first or second" ... but now you are apparently claiming you would have and we will all rue the day we didn't listen to you.

    reinvent history much

Also, Maker didn't fall. So your sources were waaayyy off on that. He actually went much higher than expected.
    ----------------------------------------------------

    And finally, wrong forum.

There was a lot of talk and speculation about Thon last summer. And his draft status fluctuated up and down. I posted a separate thread about CC and Thon for a very specific reason. Because it was not random.

Hopefully Zhou Qi closes out the CBA finals in the morning and we sign him to replace Bobby Brown on the roster. This is a great opportunity to get his Birds rights in basically two years instead of three. And perhaps he can get some run in our last game.
