I think it was a very wise decision to do it in a regular season game and not wait till the playoffs.

There are a very small amount of people of who don't forgive Max, especially after he told about his regret to our founder, @Clutch

He's met a few of the Clutchfans and we told him on how much he meant to us and the city of Houston. The great part was that he appreciated.

Maxwell also found his love for the new Rockets and watches every game.

Disappointing Rudy was snubbed again. The guy's resume is more than deserving.

His only mistake was not playing on the East Coast.

Have to disagree that Rudy T's only mistake was not coaching on the East Coast. A bigger mistake was coaching for an NBA team in the City of Houston, which seems to be the mainstream sports media's city of choice when said media feels like dumping on a city. In my humble opinion. That Rudy didn't get voted into the Hall is an outrage. Treating Coach Guy V. like chump change was bad enough. Now "they" are dumping on the guy who brought 2 championships to the City of Houston and the Rockets.

Let's not forget Rudy's FIBA competition record as Head Coach, either. A Bronze medal at World's coaching a squad of non-NBA players, and a Gold Medal in Sydney 2000 with a perfect record - 8-0. What he did at the Worlds with no NBA players was pretty impressive. And remember the Atlanta 2004 Olympic team lost 3 games with Larry Brown and Popovich as coaches...for an embarrassing Bronze finish as host country.

    http://archive.usab.com/bios/tomjanovich_rudy.html

Tomjanovich is no stranger to USA Basketball nor senior level FIBA competitions. He served as head coach of the 1998 USA World Championship Team that originally was to be a team comprising NBA players. But when labor problems prevented their use, the USA team ended up comprising American players who had played professionally overseas, in the CBA or in college. Despite formulating the team just weeks in advance of the Worlds, Tomjanovich led the U.S. to surprising 7-2 finish and the bronze medal, defeating host Greece 84-61 in the bronze medal contest.

Two years later he led a USA team consisting of NBA players to a perfect 8-0 mark and the gold medal at the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney, Australia. In leading the U.S. to Olympic gold, he became just the third coach to win an NBA title and an Olympic championship, joining Hall of Fame coaches Chuck Daly and Lenny Wilkins.

Here's the 1998 World Cup squad that Rudy coached to a bronze, beating Argentina, Spain, Italy and Greece (in the Bronze game by 23 points). Losing to Lithuania and Russia by just 2 points each.

I only forgive him because we won it all without him. I wouldn't hate him because he helped give us the first one

But it would be different if we were bounced out by the jazz without Clyde's 40 pts at game5 and his ridiculous 4th quarter
