He deliberately provoked Rockets fans(and Houstonians in general) on his way out the door. That's entirely on him. His alienating of the Mavs and Grizzlies fanbases are less his fault since that's mostly due to injury. To be honest, if I'm a Memphis fan, I'd be a lot angrier at management. Two straight seasons end due to injury. He had microfracture surgery in 2015. And they hand him a contract like that?!
To be clear he did not have full microfracture it was a hybrid, much less intrusive, and he has dealt with a slight meniscus tear this year, much like Pat Bev did, and decided to get it sorted. The chances are good that he comes back healthy, let's see.... DD
He's had 3 straight seasons that have ended due to knee surgeries. Maybe he can eventually get healthy, but as of now, he looks like damaged goods.
PER isn't accurate for players with limited minutes, but still funny to see Parsons rank on top. Batum is surprising though. His FG% has dropped, but his play making and defense are still good, which is skewed by PER as well.
It's almost like their past acts added some sort of negativity to the BBS universe and then that negativity was mysteriously yet justly administered back unto them.
