He's fourteen years older than he was in his last special, peoples voice changes as we get older, we can't all be Chris Rock. Plus he smokes a **** ton of cigarettes so that probably doesn't help
His ending joke for the 2nd special killed it, had me and my friend laughing for 5 minutes straight. I actually remember the joke from when I saw him live in Houston 3 years ago or so. To me the 2nd one was better.
Yeah I bought last min tickets for $280/each and it was totally worth it. Post-Trump Chappelle is something else man
Caught the 2 specials today and while the age of spin had the more explosive jokes, the Austin one reminded me of how naturally funny Chapelle is. Seems like he's happy where he is now. That's awesome. Only Dave could have told some of those jokes and gave them that punch. Some of his throwaway lines made me crack up too. It's between him and Louie for the best stand-up alive now. I go back and forth.
Saw Dave at Red Rocks tonight, amazing show Opening acts were: -Ashley Barnhill -Donell Rawlings -Michael Che -John Mayer Show ran almost 4 hours total. the last 45 minute or so were just dave and Mayer doing whatever they wanted on stage together And obviously
