    With all the attention Russell Westbrook is getting for his triple doubles, its easy for the media to overlook what James Harden has been doing.

    Since the 83-84 season, he is second for most triple doubles in a single season:

    nobody outside Rockets fans cares about Harden's triple double solely because of Westbrook's season. In fact, if Westbrook doesn't get a triple-double in a game, ppl are disappointed since it's expected he will.

    Is there a such thing as quality triple doubles?

    Harden has the most 40 point triple doubles, and two 50 pt triple doubles both being historic in nature.

    Quality over quantity. (I'm reaching I know, lol)

    Harden extends his NBA record of 40+ pt triple doubles in one season to 7.

    He's now a 4 game Dreamshook for triple doubles.

    Fact is Harden can get triple doubles too if he stats pad rebounds and asks his bigs to only box out

    Giving the mVP to WB just because of the triple double ( 2 extra rebounds) while his team has 7 less wins would be a farce
