Texans cap situation has been very good over the last couple years. The only mistake was Brock, but that contract was written perfectly. We could have signed Bouye if we really wanted him at that price, even before the Brock trade. He actually got less than I thought he would get. I figured 30 million guaranteed. Teams have their priorities and I think it's obvious the Texans weren't interested in Bouye beyond a certain price tag.
Why do people act like they wouldn't do the exact same thing in his situation. If I could increase my salary by more than 500% why the **** not? **** if I can increase my salary 10% I'm out the door. Classy is not about facts and truths. Anyone on the team could come out today and say that they are ecstatic to get rid of Brock because he was the worst qb they have ever seen and it would certainly be stating facts.
