Trading guys like Ariza/Anderson/Gordon/Bev will absolutely change the chemistry and the way this team played. You do not do that in the last 2 months of the season.

Without getting these 4 guys involved and also let go of your young potential talents like Dekker/Harrell/Capela, you ain't going to get sh't from anyone.

Even you are going to trade Capela away, what is the best return you can get? Teams will not offer you Millsap or KP for him, not even Lopez from the Net.

So what kind of upgrade you can expect?

who said any of those guys are being traded. That hasn't happened. I wasn't even talking about anything you just posted.

You said they were going all in when they made one small trade.

Seriously, people underrate the type of chemistry displayed.

You don't break that up to unless it's a clear upgrade. Swapping out spare parts that don't fit for upgrades is great, but not glue pieces for small upgrades.

Tell that to Durant this past summer. Butler is an all-star that averages over 25 ppg. You absolutely trade Bev for Butler...

The right deal, of course, but for Melo or Shumpert...... NO thanks.

Wilson Chandler is an interesting name, but I do not believe Denver will let go of him for Harrell plus a second round pick and fillers.

You are comparing Durant to Butler?

One guy whose clearly the best player in the best team in the league and the other guy whose team is struggling to even made the playoff?

    please.

So if none of those guys mentioned will be traded,

are you implying we are going to trade Bobby Brown away to get an important piece to help this team for a championship run?

or how much "all in" you still want from this team?

trading Keith Jones also and Les throw in one of his mansions in south FL?

his point, I think, is sometimes you have to make the rational decision over the emotional one. butler would be a massive upgrade over bev.

not sure where your getting at here. you're bringing up all these assumptions from the air.

there's one thing specifically i addressed when you said rockets are going all in and i said they weren't. that's it and that they are just getting ready for a playoff run

Butler is a much better overall player than Bev, that's for sure.

    However,

he may NOT be a better fit to Harden than Bev.

And the Bulls is NOT going to trade him for Bev.

    Simple as that.

Yes the Rockets are all in, they are all in by what they can spend and the way they are spending it.

If they want to hold back, there is no reason for them to trade for Williams.

And even they are all in, it's stupid for anyone to just think they will trade left and right for the so called fantasy upgrade.

ya. I don't think it will happen either.

but if it did...in my opinion, the talent upgrade would outweigh the fit issues. At a certain point harden is going to have to share responsibility with another ball-dominant player. That is, if he wants to win.

lol again no the rockets are not all in. Your definition is obviously completely different than what it's supposed to mean. What does holding back have to do with trading for Williams? Nothing, it upgrades a player who was in the rotation while losing nothing else.

Why's it stupid? They've been trading left and right for years. I mean did James harden come running in Free Agency

Since the Rockets signed Dwight 3 seasons ago, they did not make any major trades involving any of their core players.

The only supposed to be core player they added was Ty Lawson, they did it BEFORE the start of the season and they used mostly junks to get him other than a first rounder.

When you have a team that clearly have a chance to make a run, you don't do the same trades while you are having Asik and Lin.

    Get your facts straight.

Obviously, the system would have to change. you wouldn't bring a butler in to play bev's role. but we will never win with the personnel we have now, so something has to give.

oh so now it has to be "major trades" to fit the narrative you're trying to make that makes no sense ok. Alternative facts right. You're just all over the place.
