Oh hell no. Flat vs. Round is not belief vs. belief. Its fact vs. fiction. You don't get to say dumb **** like "I don't believe in gravity" or "I don't believe in planets" and hide behind "it's my belief; respect it".

One quick look at Travelocity shows direct flights from Perth to Johannesburg with 10:45 flight time, just like that flat-earther says it should. So that is about 500 mph. Lol like I said, I never looked into it but I figured I would easily debunk it. I just remember it being a weird and interesting stand to use as evidence to back a claim of flat earth lol.
also, someone debunked the flat earth map by showing the flight time of a New Zealand to Santiago, Chile flight. On the flat earth model the plane would have to go twice the speed of sound to make it in the same amount of time...because that's a really long flight on their map. Did it ever occur to you that the airlines are part of this and put all the passengers that fly those flights in a trance so they don't realize they are in the air so long? Flight times can easily be fudged.
If you scroll down in that link I provided, a flat-earther joined in the conversation to say, sure the Perth to Johannesburg direct flight is in the airline database, but you can't ever book it. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
