Charlie was as good as his callers. But he had a pretty high baseline of knowledge and his monologue's were sometimes spot on. I've tuned into Innes when I wanna hear some Neanderthal **** and he delivers.
Charlie was also just about the only host that talked baseball. Its pretty much been NPR on the drive home for me.
Well, considering you knew what I meant in the first place, your entire premise is feeble. Be more nifty.
1. Mad Radio 2. The Proper Gentleman 3. The Bottom Line 4. A.D.D. Radio/ Gallant at Night with Paul Gallant 5. Josh Innes Show 6. Granato & Raheel with Del 7. Triple Threat (should be the Sean Pendergast show imo) 8. Mighty Gwen 9. In The Trenches 10. In The Loop Screw what the ratings say
I keep telling y'all check out the Chop Shop on 1520 from 12-2, the nations only "urban" sports talk show; last week they had so many guest in for the SB. The show is "highly googleable"!!!
I legit didn't know 1520 was clear, I'll check it out. There's also a guy that comes on after Josh that's pretty good as to what I've heard from him but I've never listened to a full show so I don't want to say he's good based off a handful of segments
I don't know his name, I've never caught his show from the beginning but he's got good takes. Last week he was talking about how Bob McNair should bring back Oilers name and honor those players that played in Houston like Warren Moon who never played a down there but has his jersey retired in Nashville. I'm all for that
Jayson Braddock. Sounds black, but he's white. He talks plenty football. 790 is supposedly expanding his airtime this year.
Isn't he mixed? Bf I actually saw what Mighty looked like I had in my head he was Jerome Soloman but turns out he looks like a mini Don Sam aka the Original D.S.! IDK about revisiting the Oilers tho, to me that's Possum Hollars team and they can keep it and those looser colors. It does suck for the fans of the team that went through all the ups and mostly downs, I was one of them too but let it go.
Yeah, he might be mixed. He has plenty soul. Many times, radio personalities look different from their voices. I wouldn't mind retaining the Oiler brand... no big deal either way to me though. I will check out more 1520.
I doubt the Adams family and Titans franchise would sell the Oilers rights back. The Cleveland package should be the Houston packag though. Its a shame Houston wasnt able to keep it in the first place.
Well, that's a long sterie... When the mo-better broadcasting company got bought out by another Messican station Coop stayed around KCOH in it's on;y online format. IDK why he didn't go over to 1520, maybe they wanted to go younger and hip-hopper..? I do miss Coop and all the old NFL legends he would have on during the football season.
