So I'm curious to know who everyone wants as the Texans starter next year. Now the players in the poll are possible targets/free agents.

No need to bring in a retread just draft one and coach him up .

I don't mind spending a 1st pick on a QB, but i don't necessarily want them starting. I'd be fine with letting Savage run with it for a while and give the rookie some learning time.

Honestly, I draft a QB and I get a QB specifically to play next year.

Based on the Texans defense and the receivers already on the roster, I would take a chance on Jay Cutler.

Who do I want their QB to be? Aaron Rodgers.

Are we going to tie this to reality? If so, Jimmy G, Phillip Rivers, Tyrod Taylor, and Tony Romo shouldn't be on this list. The only legit options are Osweiler, Savage, and drafted QB. Of the 3, I don't have a preference really, just whoever wins the job in camp.

What do I want? I want Oz to step up and take the reigns of the qb position for the next 10 years. I would love it if the Texans didn't have to use an early draft pick or cap space on an additional qb.

Will it happen? I guess we will see.

I want Romo. I think he's a realistic probability because I think Dallas will release him.

I want Romo, with Savage as a backup in case of injury, and then a rookie, preferably Mahomes.

Sign Romo to a cheap deal, restructure some people, and then cut Osweiler.

Why not just want Aaron Rodgers?

He wasn't talking about the thread. He was saying that he didn't think we needed to bring in a RETREAD QB. He wants us to draft one instead.

Try and throw to a different Clemson receiver, while having a similar back behind him, on a team that focuses on it's defense...... Yet do better.

If you told me we could get Romo and STILL get Mahomes or another QB that surprises at combine. I would be on board. But if getting a qb in FA means we don't get one in the draft then no... I'm over retreads without at least having someone new on the team. Also, having glass 2.0 backup glass 1.0 in case of injury is laughable. While we're at it, let's see if Bradford can keep it up and join us as well.

Oh, so you'd suggest trying him as a QB then? I don't see how that would even be an upgrade from last season. Why not just try Braxton Miller?
