20m per to stand at the 3pt line, nothing else. not bad. gimme 50k to warn the bench then, nothing else
It is early, but it is sorta feeling like a Juwan Howard type of deal, overpaying for an average impact. DD
Honestly this was my reason behind not wanting to trade him. But he's not shooting quickly or well anymore. He's 100% useless right now. I'm sure it's pretty much impossible but I wouldn't care if he was dealt to improve the team. I'm over this 3 **** anyways.
$20 million per year for a stat line of 0 points, 0 assists, 0 steals, 0 blocks and elite championship level spacing all the way from Conroe in the 1st half and Pasadena in the 2nd half
Juwan Howard is an average player but got paid superstar money. This is like current Melo salary. 18M is not superstar money, it's almost star money (if you consider 20M the baseline star money). Yes Anderson is overpaid but honestly 15M for him would be decent so slight overpayment of 3M doesn't really matter especially if you consider Gordon signed with Houston for just 15M thanks to Anderson.
His D and lack of rebounding is killing us, him being streaky, his lack of a role on offense is just the icing on the cake. We need a 3rd scorer because Anderson is no long attempting to create for him self, 20 mill per for a 4th offensive option who can't play D or rebound is killer. Dudley, Fre, Teletovic or Sova can do what he doas for a fraction of the price. Starting to think it would be best to dump his contract before his value dips too hard.
Stop. Just stop. Everyone always has to find someone to b**** about. You weren't complaining when Ryno went for 27 against INDY with 5 threes and 25 against the Kings with 6 threes earlier in the week. Last night it was Ariza was awful, but tonight he's great because of the D he played on Wade. It's a team game. Not everyone can be a superstar every night. Stop, you're pathetic.
I wonder how much of Ryno's production Wiltjer would provide if given opportunity. If Ryno isn't hitting threes, he is a useless basketball player.
hold on there. ariza plays every game and defends the other team's best player. anderson just came back from extended vacation and is a red carpet for anyone who wants to score in the paint. ariza also makes 40% the salary. but let's get to the crux of the matter here with anderson. aside from his jekyll and hyde shooting, he is a p***y and liability in every other facet of the game.
You miss the point entirely. There is always one person that fans b**** about and it's always after a bad game. Same fans praise the same player next game if he's on. This is not about salary. Anderson could be making Ariza money and fans would still flip flop on him. We knew what Anderson was when he was signed. The one skill he has is pretty damn important to how the Rockets want to play and Anderson has had some big moments in big games this year. He just is what he is.
The problem is we don't have a CENTER that can space the floor too...so when other teams have a lane clogging big we struggle. DD
only pet hate i have about him, is how he reaches with his hands after he shoots to wait to see if the ball goes in
Let me get you in on a little secret, boys. Remember a week ago when Harden was telling Dekker to "pass that ....."? Anderson doesn't make plays nor attempt to make plays because that is not what Harden wants. Harden wants the ball back. Got it? Harden wants the ball back! Anderson is doing EXACTLY what Harden wants him to do. He either catches and fires or he throws the ball back. There's no other options built into this offense for him to execute the step back fade after penetrating to the high post. That disturbs what Harden wants fellas. Harden wants the ball back. Get used to it. This is what a one dimensional offense looks like. One guy trying to do everything, three guys standing there to catch-and-shoot or give it back, one big guy picking and rolling. James Harden is too immature to understand that he cannot win a championship playing this way. And he's won Les over and is basically the president of the team and in charge of personnel. We can only hope he learns humility, figures it out, and makes the adjustments needed to produce a TEAM that is championship worthy. But he ain't there yet. He's still basking in the personal gratification of 40 and 50 point triple doubles and fooling himself into believing he can win rings playing this way.
