Clemson over Bama was just the precursor to an even greater football upset.

Let us not forget the last time a Houston team faced some pompous, arrogant yankee brethren in the playoffs in the cold, inhospitable north:

Clemson has a clutch QB like Deshaun Watson, the best QB in college football. We have one of the worst QBs.

As I said in the "bring it on" thread. New England 41-13.

Would LOVE a Texans upset.....just don't see it.

It was still an upset, it was still Bama. They had best QB in the league, we have best defense.. ok that's all I can do to fool myself. just let me dream until Saturday.

Any examples of the roasting? Or an explanation of why we are tomato cans? I'd say we are Cambell's Thick & Hearty at worst

Ok. I have decided that if we win this game (which I have 1% belief we could do) I am putting all my insults and haha's at this guy Dan. What a tool. He is right tho, Patriots pretty much have a clear shot to Super Bowl. Hope we can make it a trap game for them lol

You mean the ball that sails 10 yards and leads to an INT

I guess you would have described Brady as inept at "getting into the end zone" as well during his first significant relief appearance and 1st 2 starts.

So to save hope about Savage being the savior, you are suggesting that he is Tom Brady? Wow, that's bold. I mean, sure he couldn't get the team past the 50 yard line against the Titans, but he's Tom Brady and we just have to keep playing him to find out right?

Depth chart has Hunt as primary KR and Fuller as primary PR. No more Ervin muffs.

heard him on 790 on the josh innes show. he just a troll trying to incite reactions. major douche. he was basically begging for any fightback from Texans fans but was surprised by not much of a reaction or the defeatist attitude of Texans fans.

I will say this, lets not just bend over and take this like most Texans fans seem to be doing. "We don't have a chance!! Whats the point?!? Its called being a realisttttt" What a bunch of sad sacks! We literally have nothing to lose, don't bow down to these NE douches

Nope...not at all. I seriously doubt Savage will approach Brady's stature. However. when Brady first started, no one knew he would turn into Tom Brady. My point is that since he also threw for 0 TDs in the same amount of games as Savage you must also have thought that Tom Brady was inept.

And yeah, those 4 series against the Titans were damning.

My point here is that there is no reason to think that Savage will magically get better if he was put into the game. I mean, sure, it could happen, but by that crazy logic, Brock Osweiler could turn into Peyton Manning.

Savage will end up being a much better QB than Brock.

Hopefully Brock throws an early meaningless INT and gets benched.

I will take on this attitude as soon as the team does.

So far this year, when the Texans have been even a slight underdog on the road, we're 0-5 and have been outscored 143-55. 4 of those 5 games were basically over before halftime.

We have a reason to be defeatist this week.

With this defense we have a chance. It may not be big, but it's there.

dammit you make a good point. why should I get up for this game? when we played in the regular season, I was so hyped and confident we were going to finally beat them in Foxboro. it just made me much more pissed off the following morning lol
