Doesn't feel like it, since our last 20 have really diluted what was probably the hardest schedule to start the year. For the remaining 43 games, we have:

    2H1A vs GSW
    1A vs San Antonio
    1H vs Cleveland
    2A vs LAC
    1H vs Utah
    2H1A vs Memphis
    1A vs Boston
    1H1A vs Milwaukee
    1H vs OKC

So maybe, 15 total games vs good teams left, and only 5 games vs great teams left. The big difference now is that the Rockets are behemoths, so there are fewer and fewer teams to fear. Knock on wood, because we might be hitting our franchise high in victories this year.

Equally notable: we have more wins than the NBA champs right now.

Don't want to jinx it but the fact that the team remains UNDEFEATED on the second night of back-to-backs is impressive to say the least.

Shame on anyone who says this isn't a basketball town. In honor of our old friend Benny Anders.

What's interesting though is normally the good teams' SOS are lower than bad teams' because they never play themselves.

However, despite that, OKC seems to remain steadily near the bottom of the list. It seems like they are bound to hit a wall sometime soon which perhaps would permanently distance Westbrook from Harden in the MVP race. Portland also have had a fairly rough schedule to start so I expect them to secure the 8th seed later on in the season.

November was brutal. December was much easier(at least after that GS/DEN B2B). January's latter half will also be brutal, but again, it's followed by an easy February. The Rockets, if healthy, should be favored in every game next month.

I think its crazy that Cleveland is right behind us int the Espn SOS when we have played 6 more away games and 3 more games overall. Their sched has been weak.

Don't worry, bro. Mavericks should be solid again in another 40 years or whenever Cubes sells the team. In the meantime, have fun experiencing what its like to post on a winning forum.

If the Rockets get through January OK, it's downhill from there.

I just double checked, we have never had a 60 win plus Rockets season.

San Antonio schedule in March is insane. They are gonna loose a bunch of games I think. We just have to keep it close.
