I know right. Why would anyone try to argue for a player that probably despises this organization at this very moment. The ship has sailed and DMo will probably never ever consider nor be a Rocket ever again. He doesn't fit the role of pick and role super athletic catching lobs nor the tall 3pt volume shooter threat from the outside. DOF need to just know that it's over.... Move on.
Situation is on-going. NBAPA and Silver still working on resolution. DMo cannot sign anywhere until complaint is resolved. Both the Nets and us still involved here.
The guys who put on that jersey with pride have moved on.Nobody in that locker room cares about the player formerly known as Donatas Motiejunas, aka "DMo," "X-Factor," "Super-Role Player," "Donatas-My Agent Is Intellectually Deficient-Montiejunas," etc... It's time to move on. You've got guys on the team who are putting up great numbers without DMo in the picture. And, these guys have been here since the beginning of the season. They bought into the system. They suited up. They've earned their spots, for the time being anyway. Even Clint, who drives me insane at times, has played well up until his injury. DMo would just disturb chemistry, not because of his talent but because how he/BJ failed to work the system and were generally unprofessional and disrespectful towards the Rox. I'll take Kenny Thomas over DMo at this point. At least Kenny had some heart, survived being attack by a pit bull( or something random like that) and didn't create some epic roleplayer-goes-diva- mega-saga. Donatas will have a career elsewhere. Good riddance.
if we are going old school then Pig Miller, Othella Harrington, Terrence Morris all scrubs with more pride....
That's a damn low bar. Lo, how the might have fallen. Rockets offered him a lot of money and a chance to get on the court and earn a lot more. Now the measure of success is that he ever signs with a team again, at any rate? That's some pretty soft Yule C.
