I ****ing hate these ads. You had not and have not done **** with the Texans. All of a sudden you get to be in ads with what people considered to be one of the best players in the NFL. I also blame HEB for putting him in it.

Every time they play these commercials I just want to throw something at the TV. Pisses me off.

I get a laugh out of them, but only because they are so lame, kind of like that old show Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood.

Weird how Brock got / gets more commercials than our number 1 overall pick

Ummm...Savage did the same, he stared right at No.90, never saw him drop back and hit him square in the facemask from 10 yards away.

Ok he did do that once. But I feel Brock throws so many interceptable balls despite such a run heavy conservative offense. We went almost all pass with Savage and zero interceptions.

agreed, the receivers aren't to blame when they can't gather in brock's hospital passes

I feel bad for Brock, I really wanted him to do well. I made excuses for him, I held on to hope.. But one thing did it in for me, and it does not mean that Savage is THE guy or will take us to the Super Bowl, it just means I can't trust Brock until he comes in preseason next year and absolutely murders.

    That one thing?

Deandre effing Hopkins catching 8 balls for 87 yards in 2.5 quarters of play (should have been 9 catches and a TD)

While I totally blame Hopkins for that TD. Savage proved to me that it was not Hopkins this whole year. While I thought it was weird Hopkins did well with every QB but Brock, I thought maybe he was having a down year or teams knew how to cover him better. No, Hopkins acted the same Hopkins in the second half of that game. Now lets see what this offense can do. (Man I wish we had Watt, Miller, Johnson, Joseph, Strong...)

No doubt, it just about got to the point where an incomplete pass felt like a win for the offense.

Riddick is a big Savage supporter.

In preseason he questioned why Brock was starting over him.

No doubt it was Osweiler in regards to Hopkins down year. He has a huge catch radius and Brock still couldn't find it. Savage came in and right away put the throws in places that Hopkins could make the play. He definitely should've had the td catch.

I was also a Brock defender...thinking that he just needed a little more time to get comfortable. Turns out...he's just not very good at football. I'm not sure if his issues can be a one off-season fix. He'll make for a fine backup next season. Now that the staff is looking at Savage as the starter, I can't see a way that Brock beats him out going into 2017. I think they'll draft a qb in the later rounds and cut Brock as soon as they can after next season.

These tweets and analysis really get you excited.
Then you remember this is Houston Texas professional football and know something will get f'd up!
Also you really really wonder wtf was going on with the coaching and entire staff the last 2 years. Dude's been on the roster the whole time...

In any case, my interest level, playoffs or not, and honestly was starting to hope they miss (better draft pick, more potential internal shakeup), was WAY WAY down until the switch. Didn't even watch first half last week, then checked the stats and was like whah, Savage is in, so watched the second half. Definitely excited to watch now, hoping for playoffs.

If those tweets are all true Savage should have been the day 1 starter. Unless BoB and/or Smith/McNair's QB evaluation skills are that bad, no excuses for having to wait 16 weeks for Savage to start.

All these tweets are misleading. This was against Jacksonville.
    When was the last time
Jacksonville was relevant. Let me see what he does
against better teams before I crown him Jesus.

They actually have a very good pass defense.

By the pink of Donatas' nipples, sir you are correct. It's still the Jaguars though.
