Are the Rockets too good that games are boring now?

It was not boring if you were at the game. Go to the game and you'll see how exciting it was.

 

Most exciting action of the night was those two kids racing to put on the pro unis and shoes before making a bucket to win two game tickets.

 

First kid choked it!

 

I don't know how this could even be a question.

Considering only last year we were being swept by some of the worst teams in the entire league.

It is a breath of fresh air.

 

Are you kidding me? It's exciting to see us progressing, even though we have many obstacles to cover.

Being bored > getting angry your team is struggling against a bad team without their best player.

The Kings are always dreadful and boring and even moreso without Cousins. There are a lot of boring teams in the league now. 2-3 elite super teams. 2-3 really good teams and then the rest are mediocre.

 

They are boring.

There is a different feel to playing GSW as compared to the Sacramento Kings.

As a fan there is more juice in the big ones.

I'm excited for the SA game next week.

Not every game is gonna be close. And that's what makes close games so exciting. Especially when it's 2 good teams who are playing well.

It sounds like some of these fans prefer those seasons where Harden had to do everything and it came down to hero ball in the 4th because so many games were close against both good and bad teams. I guess they need something to complain about.

 

Rocket Fan Check List:

1. Say you hate that the Rockets are always in close games
2. When were blowing a team out say were boring now
3. When were winning say its just the regular season
4. When were winning in the playoffs say its not the finals
5. When were winning the finals its a small sample size

depending on who you talk to here on CF, neither am I.

 

Let's not get ahead of ourselves. We haven't done ANYTHING yet. The season doesn't really start until after the All-Star game. If we can sustain this during the second half of season and into the playoffs, then I'm a believer. Otherwise, this is just warm ups for me.

 

I'm pretty sure GSW fans were not complaining about games being to boring last year.. I'll take a blow out every freakn game!! And watch every game for the whole season..

This is a product of old style Rocket thinking. Rudy T never tried to pour it on any team. It was the gentleman thing to do, not to humiliate the other team.

Older Rocket coaches were quick to the trigger releasing the bench warmers. Y'all can all remember when all of a sudden the starters would have to get back into the game because our bench got over run.

But that was a mistake! Playing with a lead demands discipline. A type of discipline you can't practice in the gym.

The juggernaut teams beat you mentally and Physically. And the Rockets are on the verge of become one, they just need to keep their foot on the peddle. Don't let up!!
