Are the Rockets too good that games are boring now?

I still greatly enjoyed tonight's game. Moochie was honored, harden messed around for the trip dub, and the fans were engaged cuz they wanted to see the three point record broken

 

Nothing wrong with blowout games. Rest the starters and give some PT to the bench.
Also gives chance to set new records!

This is exactly what elite teams do. They curb stomp bad teams and you get to see our starters chilling on the bench and laughing through the 4th.

I love rooting for an elite team.

I guess you're just such a pure basketball fan that you'd rather see a close game, than a game that illustrates how well your team is playing.

The thrill of just good ol' competition gets you going more than seeing your team shoot over 50% from the arc.

The delicate intricacies of basketball schema are just so ****ing fascinating to you that your team beating the **** out of another opponent is just borderline gross.

And KJ was hot garbage tonight. 3 turns in 4 possessions. He's not helping himself at all. Too much potential to look so bad.

 

A team that can score like this needs to develop their killer instinct. Step on necks, show no mercy.

 

KJ can play, he just doesn't fit in this team's 3s or drive offense...he would do great in a slashing role on a team that runs the read and react.

On the contrary. This shows we can be consistent. Think big picture... we get good at scoring 130/game... the name of the game is who can score most points.

Don't be too hard on yourself. I enjoy blowouts just as much as ugly wins, if not more. In blowouts, not only we get to see starters humming like a 5 star choir but also the hidden treasures in the reserve that we don't get to see. What's not to like? Boring? Winning big is not boring.

After going through one of the worst seasons in Rockets history last year how could you be bored with the Rockets right now?

That off-season was riddled with numbskull post after numbskull post talking about how terrible this team was going to be. 80% of the GARM was on suicide watch...

No way. after the crap we saw last year from JB and his coaching, this is beautiful basketball. Keep it coming.
