There's so many trade rumors surrounding him. I think he would be a nice addition to the team. We need a big body center and it's clear. Capela has a hard time against center that are way bigger than him. It showed against the nets when he was defending Brook Lopez. He had a hard time, that's why Nene came in for him.

Nikola Vucevic makes Enes Kanter look like Dikembe Mutombo.

Wait, what. Don't you know how bad Kanter is on defense? Kanter is a max player who is so bad he can't start over a rookie. You start a thread to highlight our defensive shortcomings against Brook Lopez then advocate trading for two of the worst defensive bigs in the game today?! nah son. I like Noel too but he wouldn't help against the big body centers you reference since Noel weighs 20 pounds less than Capela.

Yes I know how bad he is on defense but he's a liability on the glass and on offense. but noel has a really high potential why not take the risk on him

Isn't Kanter like 4 inches shorter after Dekker dunked all over his face last week?

vucavic is bigger than capela but not at all better on defense.

also, a post player has little use in our offense. we need a big who can shoot 3's, or finish on a PnR.

and yes we do need another defensive center for when capela finds a bad matchup (or is in foul trouble, or even just when he's on the bench), but not at the cost of our cap space for next summer.

Funny, I didn't even know about the Vucevic rumors but when I heard Cousins was sitting tonight my immediate thought was that there might be an imminent trade, and the first team I thought of was Orlando because of their glut of big men. They could condense it to a Cousins-Ibaka frontcourt and deal Vucevic + fillers in return

Is this thread just like all the other posts in trades thread: 2nd rounder + Brewer for 20/10 guy?

He does have a top 3 nickname in the league, so I'm down with the trade.

    BRING VUCCI MANE TO HOUSTON.

Orlando-Sac trade for Cousins makes no sense because both teams suffer from a glut of big men. Both teams are better off upgrading at point or their wings.
