Texans 32 Jags 13 It's time for the offense to score some points. It's the to separate from the division.
Just don't turn it over Brock. Please. We already don't ask you to throw the ball more than 10 yards at a time.
I'm not sure that's enough to take him out of consideration. Really it has to be violent charges for that to happen. I still don't think we'll do it because I don't think we have that kind of money left over, but there's certainly a need for another WR.
There's almost no way he's not getting suspended. First game I'm going to this season. Hopefully they'll do better than the first game I attended last season (season opener against KC). I want to feel positive for this one but they're made it just about impossible to assume they'll do anything they're expected to do.
Doesn't he still have to face league sanctions? Why go out of the way to go get a built in distraction?
Seth Payne had an interesting take this AM, that losing vet WRs really hurt Nuk because they ran routes very well, and that's one thing rookie WRs rarely do well. Haven't watched specifically, but this take makes sense, especially in an offense as "complicated" and with as many new parts as ours.
Ive thought the same thing. I actually didn't want them to cut Cecil Shorts even if he was gimpy because itd make the WR corpse too young, too raw, too inexperienced. Plus the WRs actually had a team record for total WR yards last year, it wasnt like they underperformed. (Odd as it seems, even Andre Johnson coulda had vet presense on this club if he never left but that's old news now) Then a new QB has to come in and learn with new and young guys who are still learning. Nuk is great but he alone cant make everyone else learn the routes and playbook. I dont think its an accident CJ and Griffin have gotten more targets, its part cuz theyre familiar with the system
Well, they've gotta win 2 of 3 to get in the playoffs and it doesn't get any easier than this week, so yeah, pretty much must win.
