Eric Gordon The second Playmaker

Gordon was on fire last night. It was awesome to see James cheering from the bench while Gordon was lighting it up from downtown. Nice to have a scoring punch off the bench who can actually score.

Best off season acquisition.

 

Gordon is one of the guys that really give me confidence on the Rockets, he's become the 2nd star of this team along side Harden and I really think having Harden, Gordon and Ariza on the court together gives us a really strong back court that hang with anyone in the NBA. The combination of Bev and Gordon is pretty great too, you can afford to sit James because these two complement each other perfectly.

 

And he doesnt mind coming off the bench. He's even going after 6th man award. Im so glad we have him. Skillful and smart.

 

You know the full story, right? We got Anderson and Anderson called Gordon so we got Gordon. Packaged deal. Learn to like Ryan, he can play.

 

I like that Gordon can get his shot off so quickly. He did great last night.

 

I like EG as the 2nd playmaker. It slows our offense down waiting to get the ball to James for him to dribble up the court. Let's get it and go. James feels like the rock has to be in his hands at all times.

Great, great pickup by Morey. Amazing shooter but what I love is how easily he can get to the rim and finish. Pretty complete offensive player.

i think the race will be between him and lou williams of the lakers. but given how more valuable gordon is to houston compared to williams is to LA, he might win it ------ barring that i-word that should never be spoken ...
