Or was last night a one time deal?

Also, I saw D-Mo as one of the players on the Rockets Roster for big men. Is there any news of him re-signing? When is the deadline for him to accept the qualifying offer?

Worrell was rough last night. KJ was in for a good 3 minutes and Worrell announced that was checking in.

I thought Ackerman was terrible and corny but I guess that's just me

They're all corny. That's been the schtick for as long as I can remember with the jokes about cookies and Calvin Murphy's singing. The corny jokes have been a feature of Rockets telecasts going back to the championship years at least. That's why I used to watch with the sound down and Gene Peterson turned up on the radio.

Worrell - Sam dekker about to check in to the game. He was the first overall pick in the 2015 draft for the Rockets

Seriously, why don't they move Murphy back to play by play?

Is what the color guy does called play-by-play? I kind of understood Worrell to be more the play-by-play guy and Murphy/Drexler/Bullard being the color guys. As in the ones that make the corny jokes. Calvin and Rudy were my favorite Rockets when I was a kid but he drives me nuts on the microphone, all the time talking about food he's eating and threatening to sing. I like him where he's at: with the organization but not in my ear for the whole game. I liked Worrell for a long time but he's clearly lost a step. He makes a lot of mistakes lately and it's probably time for him to move on. I wish JVG would call our games. He lives in Houston, right?

I remember me and others getting Griffs to do that during the '93 playoff run, but we gave up due to the radio feed being a split second ahead of the TV broadcast. Maybe that was satellite feed, and it worked better at home off cable. Can't remember, other than I didn't try it again.

Worrell has an iconic voice. Hope he's not ill or something and can return back to the sidelines. If not it was a hell of a career. Wish you well Bill.

Yeah you're right. I just couldn't recollect the exact phrasing. I always cringed when I heard that

My favorite way to watch games back in the day. Worrell is certainly past his prime but he and Murph made a good combo.
