Hopefully we can get an umpire controversy out of these last few games to provide some entertainment. This could decide the MVP.
It would be nice to get the sweep and match last years win total. That aside, their isn't much to gain or lose at this point other than Altuve's batting title which may already be won. Already turned most of my attention to the offseason and the Rockets.
Sigh...what a disappointing season. Officially meaningless series, although the last few have kind of felt like dead year walking. A few statistical tidbits to watch, Springer 30 HR, Correa and Altuve 100 RBI. And possibly matching last year's win total. Then of course there is there is Correa and Springer's hotly contested OPS race. I swear the 2 of them have been within 15 points of each other all year.
Right now, Astros stand with the 16 pick of the MLB draft before free agency. This position is probably as high as they can go in the draft just based of the standings. Maybe Hinch plays a lot of the young guys against the Angels. In other news, the Tal Hill renovation has me hype for next year. Minute Maid Park will have a better look comestic wise and it should be a better hitter friendly park. Fences will be brought in 27 feet closer from center field.
Angels gonna finish with more wins against us, than us against TEX. We lived off beating them, then died by them during the 4-gamer last week with maybe the 2 worst b2b losses I can remember regular season.
Didn't see the game. I see that worthless punk Reed went 0-3 with 2K's. His trade value must be diminishing by the day.

they are losing their way fast. i feel like this offseason will tell the complete story about whether we can realistically expect them to ever be championship-caliber
