Even if they got that play off in time the quarterback was very very close to being over the line of scrimmage when he got the pass off. Crazy ending...
I thought the same in real time. Seems like he ran forward forever before getting rid of the ball. They obviously don't have any choice but to try to get it off, but I don't know if it's even possible to get a snap off with 0:01 on the clock since you don't know the precise moment the referee is going to signal for the clock to start.
I am thrown off by Malzahn's recruiting at QB. His offense has been all about having a running threat at QB. So, he goes out and recruits one of the top pocket passers - who is not a dual threat. Don't get it. It would be like the Rockets trading for Rubio next to Harden - bad fit.
What's going on in the clip? It doesn't crop right or something.... Edit: When I quote it shows the whole clip....lol balls to the face for her. http://thespun.com/sec/auburn/auburn-video-girl-hit-face
isn't the penalty being live ball the whole point? so that a team can't just run up and get a false start penalty and get a free timeout?
When was it decided that we're just going to refer to helmets as "hats" all the time? I've heard them called that from time to time, but it seems like they never get called anything else anymore.
How can Arkansas, a program built to, if nothing else, gain three yards and a cloud of dust, continually fail to punch the ball in at the goal line? That goal line series of a QB sneak from the three-yard line, followed by the exact same play, and then a sweep on 4th down was brutal.
Arkansas was built to gain three yards in the BIG 10. Not the SEC. They looked good though. But Chavis' has been doing this for years. It's probably just weird to see it coming from Texas A&M and not LSU or Bama.
