    Stunning.

The love affair the league has with Bradford is mind boggling

I understand the desperation but the Vikings will regret this.

They need a super bowl run or this was a huge waste

Look at it this way, handing the ball off to AD was always going to be the majority of their offense and Sam Bradford has previous chemistry handing the ball off to him.

They could get the same result in terms of wins, for a lower salary and fewer picks/maybe even 5th/6th rounder for

    Geno Smith
    Mark Sanchez
    Brandon Weeden

The end result would be the same. The only difference is those 3 QBs aren't as fragile as Bradford.

Seriously Spielman and the Vikings couldn't wait for Den, Hou and SF to cut down to 53? It's not as if Bradford is gonna build such a fantastic connection with the Vikings receivers in one week or be up to speed on Norv Turners system, terminology, etc. What was the hurry??

Howie Roseman is cold blooded. Sam Bradford(despite the knee injuries) is blessed and highly favoured.

I'm in the minority, but Minny had to make a quick move..Everyone knew this..they had no leverage. The likely reality is Teddy not right for at least a year....probably worse.

They came out of it with a guy who still has untapped potential, but can at minimum do the job over there. ..just has to stay healthy. He's got a good line in front of him and can make all the throws.

I like the deal from the Vikings standpoint. If you don't go out and get a qb you are mailing in your season. Bradford, while people love to dog him, is an excellent qb when healthy.

You weren't going to get anybody even close to the caliber of bradford in waiver wire pickups or elsewhere.

Honestly, I think this is more of a bad move for the eagles. Wentz might be good, but who really knows? Bradford gave that team some stability at qb.

    ROTFLMAO

No doubt they had no leverage but why did they have to make a quick move?

Geno Smith has untapped potential but for the most part stays healthy(as long as IK Enemkpali isn't on the team).
Sanchez and Weeden don't seem to have a problem with staying healthy.

The result would have been the same but the Vikes would have been on the hook for way less financially.

Let me tell you something else: i'd rather have Sam Bradford than Brock Oswieler at 72 million. Wholly mother of ****. 72 million.

Absolutely hate this for the Vikings, but it's telling. It seems that Bridgewater might be out for TWO full seasons, and the Vikings are 100% in win now mode. AP isn't getting younger, and the defense is solid. So why not give it a go?

The risks definitely outweigh the benefits here though.

The Viking probably figure they can flip Bradford for a first after this season.

Getting Bradford doesn't even guarantee they make playoffs .
