Man!
I know the cap is growing and all, but it seems like this team should be just about out of space and flexibility with all of these huge contracts. Seriously, who needs $46 mil (per year) of Turner, Crabbe and Harkless?
Ezeli - 2/15 Leonard - 4/41 Harkless - 4/40 Crabbe - 4/75 Turner - 4/70 CJ McCollum extension - 4/106
That's insanely good deal for the Blazers. Nothing but upside. A lengthy defender than guard pretty much any position.
I'm very interested to see how these Blazers players live up to these contracts. Very skeptical at this point.
Well it's more like 10 to 3 but still I know what you mean. The Heat got a steal in Waiters. He should've gotten at least 7M or so.
Wow, Portland feels like they can't win so they might as well overpay who they have and stay in the middle of the pack. Sounds like some rocket fans around here.
Blazers: How not to do it They've got one star, one above average SG, and a ton of $ tied up in average players.
Young average players that can get better. <iframe src="https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B0cr2kw2WWAbbXk4VmdoQUk3Y1E/preview" width="640" height="480"></iframe> Hopefully that embeds properly... if not: http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/teams/por/salary But even with their two best assets tied up at 20+ per the other players would now fit into the Daryl Morey assets mold. Their contracts are easily tradeable. They are not as bad off long term though... IMO.
They have ezili and aminu on friendly contracts. I don't understand why they signed even turner and crabbe too
