    Lol. I was just reading about this. Gotta love the justice system in every country. Got money and fame, get away with almost everything.

    Except for Oscar Pistorius, but he murdered someone.

    This line in the article would suggest that they didn't get special treatment based on the length of the sentence. You could argue that the sentence wasn't long enough based on the crime.

    And he basically got away with it at first. Retry still resulted in a punishment much lighter than what the average person gets. And while he was certainly wealthy, Messi probably made more in one year that he did in his career.

    Funny you calling out the Spanish and their justice system when no one went to jail for the 2008 financial crisis in the U.S.

    You do know that under 2 years in Spain you don't serve, right?
    It's not a Messi special treatment is the ****ing law.. but hey you push whatever narrative you trying to start here.
