I was pissed when we didn't match...but Parsons is the epitome of the "fake guy" everybody knows. He turns his back the second he sees another opportunity and shows it through jabs. Its not a "little unprofessional"...its very unprofessional. The timing for the making up with Deandre Jordan and everything was calculated as well. This guy is a POS and I hope he loses money for being one. I dislike Dallas but even he's doing them dirty with his behind the back stuff with DeAndre and now this.
I don't have any hate for him, but he wasn't worth the 15M Dallas gave him before and he's certainly not worth the 22M he's asking now c'mon bro. Why would you want him back? He hasn't been healthy his entire tenure in Dallas what makes you so sure he'll be playing during the playoffs and not in crutches like the last 2 years? Guys like him are the reason we should keep 3Za, these people expect 22M when they aren't even worth 15M and yet we have Ariza who is just as good making a very respectable 7M on the roster.
I'm saying I'd take Parsons back *at the right price*. Would I be inclined to be his highest bidder? Doubtful. At 22MM? Absolutely not. But I don't think an offer around 11MM a year is unreasonable, especially with the cap jump.
Pretty much every free agent this summer is going to sign a contract that is significantly higher than what most fans think is the "right price." Parsons and his agent will laugh at an 11MM offer. That IS an unreasonable offer when you consider that other teams will be willing to pay him far more than that.
It will be symbolic if the lakers use their room to max out parsons. They can no longer use injuries and transitioning from the Kobe era as an excuse for why they're one of the worst run franchises.
Every player would be great "at the right price" saying that is like saying water is wet or the sun is hot. There's no way Parsons will settle for 11M a year are you nuts? If he took an 11M contract in this type of climate with the increasing by 33% then the Mavs would have extended him by now. Why will he take an 11M discount when the cap increases by 33% after just finishing a contract worth 15M? This is like saying you'd take Dwight back if he signed for 11M per year highly doubt even DD would want him gone at that price.
He would be a great fit with the Clippers. Talented yet injury prone. Awesome on paper yet Charmin soft.
Ironic that Dallas is looking at other targets first, since the Rockets looking elsewhere first is why he jumped ship to Dallas so quickly.
My thoughts exactly. And suddenly he was all hurt by Houston's 'dis-loyalty'. Looks like business is still business.

If we strike out on Horford, Anderson, Batum, and Conley, I see us giving Parsons the max or near max.
