From the posts I've seen in the last few weeks, you'd think we were the Lakers. Morey always manages to make something happen in the off-season. Last year's big splash didn't pan out, but that was apparently because Lawson lost his superpowers when he lost his driver's license. And 99% of us loved the signing of Dwight, back when we didn't realize he actually WAS the guy portrayed in the media. I have faith that DM will surprise us all and we'll be fine going into next season. <BR>
First of all, we were fielding pretty good teams a few years before Morey got here. Carroll Dawson brought in Tracy and Yao. That kept us from being bottom feeders. Second of all, if "keeping afloat" is your standard then maybe you aren't fit to write a defend Morey post. People (including players) are upset with Daryl Morey because he doesn't keep rosters together long enough for them to be great. He broke up a team which included Lin, Parsons, Harden, and Howard that consistently beat the Golden State Warriors in the regular season every year. His gamble on Bosh f*@cked the Rockets. He is always searching for the next big thing and in doing so dismantles young talented teams for a collection of talent that doesn't pan out because he changes coaches too. He is a doughy jabba the hut who is a laughing stock among his peers and he hope he gets fired.
A majority of CFers don't engage in Rockets/Morey/Harden bashing as a rule - that role is held by a select few troglodytes that actually enjoy it. So, what you're doing is egging on the trolls by telling them they can't. Might be better to put them on ignore and live a more peaceful existence. As the saying goes, never get in a mud wrestling match with a pig - you end up covered in mud and besides, the pig likes it.

Im not sure what Harden and Morey were supposed to do about Dwight quitting and Brewer and Lawson forgetting how to play basketball. Once those guys are gone I think we'll be ok.

He kept the roster last year and look where that got us. Everyone was chill relaxed bc they didnt get axed. Why bring up that warriors team if thats not the same warriors team. We would not be able to beat the current warriors team with that roster either Bosh on paper would of been the best possible move the rockets could make that time. -Daryl Morey gets ALL the praise when things go right, but when things go bad we should "stop being negative"? -There is negative image around our organization created by Morey and it wasn't here before he got here. Twitter fights, disgruntled players & coaches, bad roster decisions etc... -This is a Rockets fansite, and we're coming off a pretty bad season. Why exactly do we need to ease up on Daryl Morey again? He's getting paid very well to run this organization, right now the ship is starting to sink. Criticism is deserved
