He created this mess by firing mchale, not playing d and claiming only he and Howard were needed to win rings. Would be a small man if he leaves now that management has bent over and let James put it in them for this long.

I hope he realizes that and stays a rocket.

He along with Maury are also instrumental in hiring Pringles (if this happens)

The Harden era is all but done in Houston. Next season will be rough once Howard leaves and the Rockets strikeout on a big name in free agency. Result. Missed playoffs or early exit.

Unless Morey pulls a rabbit out of his hat, the season after next the Rockets will probably be forced to trade Harden before he walks without them getting anything.

The Rockets have been trying to avoid it, but the lottery is coming and the seasons that follow will be dark and full of terror.

I don't think James Harden is the problem. Moreyon and the Rockets' front office is.

Or, you know, Harden realises he doesn't need to tailor his game to suit a stiff big man who can't do jack offensively.

Knowing he has full reign and plays at an MVP level.

Just spit balling on the recent history given to me and all.

I think if fans get together and hold a rally outside Toyota Center today, that will convince James to stay long term.

With all the information that has come out regarding Dwight, and players like Terry confirming the information accurate, how is it that people still are blaming Harden? Howard verbally admitted quitting on the team. Harden may not be perfect, but he didn't quit.

And for those that love to blame Harden for everything, he was the only player on the team this year, and maybe Beverley, who's performance didn't drop from the year before. The first month he played poorly, but that also shows how great he played the rest of the year to get his numbers back to his normal. Harden is not the problem with the team. I really hope all the haters don't run him out of town. Top 10 players don't grow on trees, and the best chance the Rockets have at winning a championship in the near future is to build around Harden.

Harden will opt out at the first chance he gets.

Okay, make it happen!!! I'm sure someone on CF will relay this to Harden!

Honestly though, Hopefully someone let's Les know he needs a co-owner... Or better yet a new owner to be put in place. If you want to blame someone look to Les. Harden doesn't own the Rockets.

Yeah my reasoning is he's lazy and doesn't care about winning so why leave a comfortable situation in Houston
