LOL. You're losing your pseudo-high ground with options like "can go to hell".

Every player has positives and negatives to their game. You've never been able to handle that, so maybe the internet isn't for you.

Yao came to Houston without knowing American Culture or Texas Culture or H Town Culture and he embraced all of it.

the Major of Houston made him the Goodwill Ambassador of HOUSTON.

this happens to be a popular choice.

this is about being a Rockets fan. Being happy that our #1 pick , who never played for another team got in the hall.

Sampson, Dream, Deke, Moses, Murphy, Yao

    it's embracing Rockets history

Yao was a great player, and an even better person. As a person, he is almost without fault.

I haven't seen anyone here saying they aren't happy Yao isn't in the hall. There's just an interesting debate going on about his on-court merits. Separating the logic from the emotion, if you will. As a player, he had faults, and people shouldn't have to apologize for having a balanced take on a player.

Some people are jealous he's in the HOF. the 'merit' is just a smoke screen for jealousy.

Yao couldn't commit to the team paying him $millions$ of dollars. Perhaps in China it is considered responsible to put your nation's basketball team first, but here in America it is all about $money$.

Yao was great for the game and his with accomplishments as a whole he deserves the nod. I just wish he didn't have to play so much (year round) back in the day... , he probably could have got the Rockets another championship, he was so dominant in the series against the Lakers before the pretty much career ending injury :( but regardless, I'm glad he was a rocket, I wish Howard could learn some moves from him

    I don't understand.

You seem to suggest that Ming is so great because he never played for another team.

But The Dream played for the Toronto Raptors.

Sorry, your nonsense rants are hard to comprehend at the best of times - but when you start throwing in contradictions they become even more difficult.

You just proved that you aren't a real Rockets fan. You can go to hell.

Because by your algorithm of rating Rockets greats - they need to only play for the Houston Rockets.

Sorry YOF can you please get off the Rockets forum since you don't appreciate our greatest player of all time. You can go to hell.
