If Les can buy a mid to late second rounder, Christian Wood is a good value - he's projected as 46th pick on draftexpress right now.

19 year old PF with lottery level phisical attributes and potential, Christian Wood is already a good rebounder/shot blocker/finisher in college. His freethrow and 3 pt shooting attempts/percentage indicates he can develop into a decent shooter in NBA as well.

Fluid, agile and with quick first step, Christian Wood also has decent handle and soft touch around basket especially for a big man.

He's not the most polished/experienced prospect, and has had his bad moments here and there, but his combination of tools and talent at 19 years old can usually only be had in lottery pick range. Overall he's a good bet at current draft position.

    I'd be on board.

He's a sophomore but barely older than this year's freshman.
Has a lot of filling out to do, a lot of maturing to do wrt approach to the game.
But the tools are all there.
    IF the brain is there....

He reminds me of Capela, but more advanced offensively then defensively.
He actually measured a higher standing reach than Capela, and just slightly shorter wingspan, at just half an inch shorter.
Meaning, this is another TALL dude... which I'd love.

He could be out of the league in a year, or he could be an all star PF in 5 years... which makes sense for his draft projection.

He just recently decided to go in this draft. I do like his shooting potential a lot. With Hakeem on board, our big men seem to develop faster than the rest of the league...

Now that we have roster spots open, it's a good time to bring him back. But I'm not sure if we can sign him twice in the same season.
