He would be a huge waste of time for the organization and fans. Dude is Matt Schaub 2.0 at best. Schaub when he was healthy of course. Dude will crumble in big games.

I would be happy with a Schaub 2.0 when healthy.

No one knows how good Osweiller will be. No one.

The Broncos have a better idea than anyone else of what his potential is. And they have made a big offer. I would trust the opinions of Elway and Kubiak about Osweiller over you. Elway and Kubiak know something about quarterbacking, and they've had a good look at Osweiller.

I think this is encouraging if anything. Prime Schaub was good, he was just never healthy/at his best when our defense was really good. Osweiler has had a similar career projection as Schaub so far, similar height, etc. We just can't have a bottom tier QB with the defense we have, a middle-tier QB would be a huge upgrade over what we have now.

Prime Schaub would never beat the Patriots. Then or now. Fitz is better than Osweiler.

If the Texans sign him, might as well just get ready for more of the same, only worse.

How are you 6'7 and you have your passes batted down ON THE REGULAR?????

    HOW?

If he does come to Houston, then this where we will see if Bill O'Brien is really a Quarterback guru, or not and if he's the coach we deserved to sign two years ago. Or else, BUST, and we move on again. I think Osweiler is not a bad option. The problem is the money they're spending to get him. But so what? He's the best option out there at QB to get than drafting one through the draft. They can't and won't wait for next year or two more years to get a QB. Is this year or bust. And Osweiler is the best option available. And to be honest he is not bad, he's better than the other free agent QB's that are available and better than what they have on their roster.

Prime healthy Schuab was a pro bowl QB. Prime healthy Schuab would've made the Texans super bowl contenders last year. If Brock is that with a stronger arm then I'm all for it

Brock sucks...... Broncos defense won Denver their stretch of games. 5 turnovers against the chargers gets him benched...... He has done nothing....

To be fair, The Texans needed to win that game and get help to make the playoffs (got the win, didn't get the help). Welked tore his Acl early and Hoyer took snaps in the second quarter (fumbling leading to a Texans Td). The patriots didn't exactly go all out in this game.

Look at this guy. Brock will crumble in big games?

Did you forget the comeback he led against the Pats with 2 and a half minutes left in the game to essentially clinch home field advantage for the playoffs? Not to mention it was one of his first few starts.

That's already more big game clutch than Schaub ever had.

Not saying he's going to be good, but I trust O'Brien's opinion more than yours. If he signs off on this guy, I'm sold. He knows more than anyone here, especially since he sees things in person, and has contacts and things around the league. Just saying.

But people like you can go and pretend they know more than those making the decisions...

And Brock's win won't have come without Gronk's injury. Doesn't matter. A win is a win.

A win is a win yes. There's still a difference between the patriots trying to win in Denver to keep their perfect record alive and the top seed alive and not really going all out in the 2009 finale like when they put Hoyer in the game in the second quarter with the ball at their own 2 yard line.

Do you really think the Patriots care about a perfect regular season record? Especially with all the injuries they were dealing with???

Bottom line is: OP said Schaub would never have beaten the Patriots. Yet he did. Stop trying to defend him. lol
